Jesus Christ and The Misfit in Flannery O’Connor’s A Good Man Is Hard to Find In Flannery O’Connor’s â€Å"A Good Man Is Hard to Find,† there are numerous Christian themes found all through the story, however the one that I discovered most intriguing is the way that O’Connor is evidently drawing matches between The Misfit and Jesus Christ. At first it appears as though it is highly unlikely this could really be genuine what could the Son of God who yielded Himself to benefit mankind share practically speaking with a hoodlum and a looter who escapes from prison and slaughters a group of six without hesitating?
